Senate Bill 3503 indicates that when an institution of higher education, such as FAU, converts an approved “face-to-face” course to online instruction (remote learning), the course will continue to be recognized as a “face-to-face” course. The law is in effect from March 1, 2020 until December 21, 2020 or until the school is re-opened for in-person classes.

Be sure that all your remote courses have the correct “attribute”. The correct attribute that is permitted based on Senate Bill 3503 indicates “originally in-person” followed by your primary campus. Please note, that ONLY converted courses will be recognized by the VA as “face-to-face” courses.
